Collier Hartman
Collier William Hartman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie and Phylliss Hartman and the brother of Eddie and Alex, Chelsea and Randall, and Riley, with special recognition to Aunt Bobbi and Gram Judy. He is from Canonsburg and has been part of the wrestling program for an incredible 14 years. In addition to wrestling, Collier is involved in Engineering Club, Latin Club, Chess Club, Cross Country, and served as Sophomore Class President.
Collier’s wrestling résumé is outstanding. He is a 4-time Fargo qualifier, 4-time National Dual Team qualifier, Kids Nationals All-American, Greco and Freestyle State Champion, Greco State Runner-up, and NHSCA All-American. Throughout high school, he placed 3rd at sections and qualified for WPIALs as a freshman, earned 2nd place at sections as a sophomore with a 3rd-place WPIAL finish and PIAA State qualification, and as a junior became a section champion, placing 3rd at WPIALs and Regionals and 4th at PIAA States. He is a 3-time TRICADA Champion, Coal Cracker Invitational Champion, The Surge Champion, a member of the 100 Win Club, the 2025 WPIAL Tech Fall Leader and State Runner-Up, and a starter on the 2023 WPIAL Team Championship squad, which finished in the top four at PIAA Team States. Collier has also been recognized with numerous team awards, including the Brian Krenzelak Leadership Award, Connor Schramm Newcomer Award, Kyle Deliere Heart and Integrity Award, Lloyd Reese MVP Award, Mark Angle Most Falls and Techs Award, and Colin Johnston MVP Award.
In the classroom, Collier is an Academic All-American, a Distinguished Honor Roll student, and received a Service Selection Nomination from Congressman Guy Reschenthaler. Outside of school, he has volunteered as a coach, participated in robotics, helped with town clean-ups, supported the concession stand for many years, and worked in landscaping and general construction.
Some of Collier’s favorite memories include winning the WPIAL Team Championship against Waynesburg, placing 4th as a team at the state tournament, opening seasons with big wins over North Allegheny and Connellsville, and most importantly, the countless team debates, conversations with coaches, and the unwavering family and hometown support from the Canon-McMillan community.
Following graduation, Collier will attend the United States Naval Academy, where he will continue his wrestling career.
